Yokohama makes changes with some new positions and areas of responsibilities

Langley, BC (January 21, 2014) – In our quest to better meet the needs of customers and partners, we are creating several new positions and adjusting other responsibilities within the Sales and Marketing team.

Trevor Longley, currently Business Unit Director Consumer Products, assumes the newly created role of Senior Director Sales and Marketing. This new role includes executive responsibility for all sales (Commercial and Consumer) and marketing functions (Product Management, Market Research, Demand Planning, as well as Advertising and Communications) across Canada.

Phillip Diogenes, currently Business Development Manager – Consumer Products: Central and Western Zone, assumes the newly created role of Market Planning Manager - Consumer Products. This new role is charged with managing the consumer units product planning, sales planning, customer pricing/program development and maintenance, as well as the marketing communications for the Yokohama Brand.

Bringing a wealth of industry knowledge to Yokohama, Lise Fouquette joins our team in the newly created role of Market Planning Manager - Commercial Products. This new role is charged with managing the commercial units product planning, sales planning, customer pricing/program development and maintenance.

 

Jason Clarke, currently Business Development Manager – Consumer Products: National Car Dealer and Fleet, assumes the role of Business Development Manager – Consumer Products: Central and Western Zone. In addition to this role Jason remains the key contact for our National Car Dealer and Fleet Customers.

Phil, Lise and Jason report directly to Trevor.

James De Chavez, currently Marketing Manager, assumes the adjusted role of Marketing Communication Manager. James and his team report to Phil.

The following individuals remain in their current roles but now report to Trevor. All personnel reporting to them will continue to do so.

Robert Loranger, Business Development Manager Commercial – Eastern Zone

Brian Riddell, Business Development Manager Commercial – Central Zone

Mark Walter, Team Lead Commercial – Western Zone

Christine Rouleau, Business Development Manager Consumer – Eastern Zone continues to report to Trevor.

All other areas of the organization outside of Sales and Marketing remain unchanged.
