Forklift Operator
Work schedule is from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (full time).
Under the authority of the Warehouse Manager, the Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving and shipping, stock transfer between BIN locations, and inventory count.
Key Functions
- Operating a Forklift
- Loading loads to our customers
- Unload products from our suppliers and stack on metal racks (hand bombing)
- Maintain clean work area
Physical Requirements
- Lifting, raising, bending, and pushing
- Must be able to lift 70lbs, repetitively
- Standing for extended periods of time
Qualifications
- Class 1,2,4 & 5 Forklift License
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Stand-Up Reach, Sit-down counterbalanced forklifts
- High School Diploma
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Competencies and Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills (in English)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- High level of accuracy with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork skills
- Good attendance history
